OBSERVER LES EXPÉRIENCES DE VISITES CULTURELLES LIBRES. ÉLÉMENTS POUR UNE APPROCHE DES INTERACTIONS SUJETS/OBJETS

The experience of visits in cultural places has been a source of fruitful questioning for more than a century. Alongside the professional practices and the scenographic devices themselves, it is a question of capturing and documenting the behavior and experience of visitors, in particular in their forms that are both the most common and the most complex: in a situation of co- free tour. The phenomena observed are heterogeneous and constitute a web of determinations, impressions, behaviors that are difficult to circumscribe and which are often latent.
After having presented the experience of the visitor in co-visit (1), the present work proposes an approach articulating the observation of behaviors between humans and their relationship to exhibits and exhibition objects in contexts characterized by a scenographic device (2). Thus, a model emerges that articulates (i) situation and context of visit, (ii) transactions and human relations and (iii) cultural objects and tools. At their intersections are questioned the scenographic productions, the coordination of actions and the phenomena of affordance and guidance. An example of an instrumented device for observing these interactions, from the Scenoscope research project, is then presented, which the work of Illanes and Vena, published in this volume, will detail.
L'expérience de visite telle qu'elle se déploie en cours d'action dans les lieux culturels constitue, depuis plus d'un siècle, un lieu de questionnement fécond. A côté des pratiques professionnelles qui les produisent et des dispositifs scénographiques eux-mêmes, il s'agit de saisir et documenter les comportements et le vécu des visiteurs, en particulier dans leurs formes à la fois les plus courantes et les plus complexes : en situation de co-visite libre. Les phénomènes observés sont hétérogènes et constituent un écheveau de déterminations, d'impressions, de comportements difficilement circonscriptibles et souvent latents. Après avoir présenté cette expérience du visiteur en co-visite (1), le présent travail propose une approche articulant l'observation des comportements entre humains et leurs rapports aux objets exposés et d'exposition dans des contextes caractérisés par un dispositif scénographique (2). Ainsi se dessine un modèle articulant (i) situation et contexte de visite, (ii) transactions et relations humaines et (iii) objets et outils culturels. A leurs intersections sont questionnés les productions scénographiques, la coordination des actions et les phénomènes d'affordance et de guidage. Un exemple de dispositif instrumenté d'observation de ces interactions, issu du projet de recherche Scenoscope, est alors présenté, que le travail d'Illanes et Vena, publié dans le présent volume, détaillera.
