Facteurs d'usage des emprunts lexicaux du grec au français fonctionnant comme faux amis : l'influence de la langue maternelle à la compétence de la langue étrangère

Abstract : Based on the results of an empirical research on lexical borrowings from French to Greek functioning as false friends, we investigated the factors influencing the use of French by native speakers of Greek. Thus, important conclusions were drawn about the influence of the mother tongue by studying the responses given to the various lexical fields and personal elements of the sample, such as age, gender, profession, status, mother tongue, knowledge of French, knowledge of foreign languages, opinion about French and foreign languages, maintenance of contacts with the French-speaking world, plurilingualism.
